The Society sponsors an annual meeting, designed to promote discussion and collaboration among scientists active in all aspects of virology. Cornell University has a long history with ASV, hosting the first meeting in 1982. Since then, the meeting has taken place at Cornell on three occasions.

Telecommunication & Information Technology are rapid emerging Sciences and Technologies, which have built in potential of fast track growth of national economies worldwide. Pakistan has gained rapid growth in the Telecom & IT sector during the past few years. Some of the Muslim countries of the OIC regions have also made amazing strides in these areas.
The Standing Committee on OIC of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry has taken initiative to hold an International Conference in these areas for Technology sharing, updating know how, promotion of investment and trade in July this year. The flyer of the event is posted on our website as well.
This premier Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Pakistan would heartily welcome effective participation in the event from OIC Member Countries. The program is planned to be befittingly inaugurated.
