Call for Papers

The College of Education Salalah is honored to invite you to participate in the "Regional Symposium. The role of human resources management in enhancing quality of educational institutions in the Gulf Countries". The symposium has been designed to set up a forum to promote discussions on human resources management in the higher educational institutions in the gulf countries.

Venue:

The symposium will be held in Salalah, Dohfar District, located at the extreme south of Sultanate of Oman.

Main Themes:

1- Planning and management of human resources strategies to higher educational institutions in the Gulf Countries.
2- Training and learning initiative strategy to improve the skills of stuffs in higher educational institutions in the Gulf Countries.
3- Financial planning in ingaging competent facilaters to support the educational institutions in the Gulf countries compare and bring them at par with international standards.
4- Assess the educational investment with that of targeted outcomes in higher education institutions in Gulf Countries.
5- Role of woman in the higher education system in the Gulf Countries.
6- Role of scientific research in method improvement in higher education in the Gulf Countries.

Abstracts:

An abstract volume will be compiled and distributed at the symposium. Abstracts must be submitted via email or fax or post mail in the form of MS word for PC in Arial 12 font. Abstract must be in Arabic or English and are limited to 150-200 words. Notification of acceptance of abstracts for presentation will be mailed to the corresponding author as soon as the abstracts have been considered.

Dates and deadlines:

January 15, 2007: Submission of abstracts.
Feb.15, 2007: Full manuscript.
