
A PhD position is available at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, Germany.
The research project will explore the neural systems of attention and memory and its interactions using brain imaging (functional magnetic resonance imaging and/or event-related potentials). Successful candidates will play a key role in designing, conducting and analysing experiments.
Candidates should hold a degree in psychology, cognitive neuroscience or a related field. A specific background in research on attention and/or memory would be advantageous, as well as previous experience with brain imaging methods, sound knowledge of experimental design and statistical methods, and programming skills.
